Pittsburgh got lucky. So far the blizzard missed us. Local media says we only got the tail end of the blizzard.
I just came back from the CVS/Pharmacy down the street. I bought milk and Mountain Dew, sweet tea and a package of Oscar Mayer Salami. A writer has to eat. Foot traffic had made a path through the white snow on the sidewalk. The city had that muffled sound a city gets when it’s been hit by a lot of snow. White snow covered rooftops and the branches of trees hung heavy with snow.
It felt like Christmas all over again.
Of course, I’m retired. I don’t have to deal with the snow. I was wondering what I was going to blog about when I got back to my apartment.
