Hello hello hello, all my fans who live all over the world with a special shout-out to all my fans in Armenia, Australia, Indonesia, The Netherlands, Singapore and South Africa!
How’s everyone doing?
It’s a mostly cloudy day in The ‘Burgh and the high will be in the 40s. It’s a good day for blogging.
I got a bad scare yesterday. I was working on the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, up dating my plug-ins when I updated a plug-in and my screen went white! No matter what I did I couldn’t get the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette back on my screen.
I won’t say that I experienced a panic attack; but believe me I didn’t feel so good.
Well, I made a phone call to my IT team, the good people at HostGator. HostGator is the host for this blog and it backs up my data base and files every day. The representative I talked to disconnected all of my plug-ins. After a few anxious moments on my part the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette was back on my screen and I went back to work.
The only thing is I still have to update my plug-ins.
Well, you let me worry about that. You go on and enjoy the magazine. Check out the front page in case you missed anything. I have to get back to work.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for Pittsburgh’s #1 blog of commentaries, culture, erotic short stories, Hollywood exposed, things Pittsburgh and sex as art and entertainment.
PS I use HostGator to backup this blog, but I also need to buy some DVDs and back it up myself. This is definitely high on my to do list for April.
