My friends, this version of the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette went online February 2014 and this is post #1,700. You know you can’t beat that with a stick!
Hello hello hello, all you rock ‘n’ rollers all over the world! Guy Hogan is my name and flash fiction is my game.
The Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette community has hit a new milestone with the publication of this post. I don’t even like to think about all the mistakes I’ve made as a blogger over the past 15 years, about seven of those years as the editor, publisher of a version of The Gazette. Some of those mistakes were nearly fatal to The Gazette. I was shut down twice for adult content and because of being shut down I lost over four years of content.
Now no one can predict the future, but today with the publication of this post (#1,700), my little girlie magazine is going strong.
And my friends, I thank you. Because a magazine ain’t shit if nobody reads it. The Old Soldier salutes you!
This is the Old Soldier reporting from Pittsburgh.
Today in Pittsburgh it will be a sunny day with a high around 90.
