The Old Soldier was AWOL yesterday; but I’m reporting for duty today. How’s everyone doing? Guy Hogan is my name and flash fiction is my game. There was only a small crowd at Nico’s in Little Italy for karaoke last night, but it was an enthusiastic crowd. I got to do three songs. The third song (Sister Christen by Night Ranger) I had to look occasionally at the monitor; but it’s all good.
I’ve started featuring two stories on the front page sometimes. One of my own and one by a contributor.
And don’t forget that tomorrow, Labor Day here in the USA, I’ll publish “Forbidden Desire” by Heather Kinnane. It will probably be on the front page for only one day. So, you don’t want to miss that.
I think I’m hung over. So I’ll end this post here. If I feel a little more energetic later on, maybe I’ll put up another, longer post later today. If not, peace, out.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for the PittsburghFlashFiction, an online magazine of commentary, local interests, pop culture and sex as art and entertainment.
