I just came back from the public library (Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh) which is surrounded by the campus of the University of Pittsburgh.
Spring was in the air.
It’s a mild (50s) day. Sometimes the sun would peek out from behind the clouds. Students were everywhere. Most wore only hoodies, sweaters or sweat shirts against a light breeze. Black yoga pants are still popular with the young ladies.
The branches of the trees around campus were still bare and the hedges were brown; but most of the grass was still green. And it won’t be long before the trees are full of leaves and the hedges are green, too.
I have two new books to read and there’s Pirates baseball on the radio.
I’m a happy blogger.
