It’s you favorite blogger of culture for adults only reporting for duty. Oh, man it is hot outside (around 90) and I haven’t even been outside yet. I’ve got both windows (they point in different directions) wide open in my living room/kitchenette (where I have my workstation) and there’s a nice cross breeze going. I have a good supply of ice water. If push comes to shove I’ll break out my old light-weight fan that I bought from (you guessed it) the Dollar General across the street and I’ll set it up. That fan was one of the best buys I ever made. I’ve had it for several years and it was cheap. Thunder showers are supposed to pass through the area later today. Maybe I’ll venture outside after the thunder showers cool everything down. In the meantime I’m happy to stretch out on the sofa with two pillows under my weary head and to read my library book on the French Revolution and to listen to the soothing sounds of classical music low on the radio from the local 24/7 classical music radio station.
Hail to Pitt!
