I just came back from Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, the public library down by the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. It’s a nice day for a stroll in Pittsburgh, partly sunny with a high around 60 and I returned the three novels of Jack Kerouac collected in one hard cover book. I didn’t like the printing. It was too glossy, if you know what I mean. I like a softer look of the printed word on the page. Something that is closer to newspaper print. I got that with the novel The Dharma Bums by Kerouac. Well, I’m counting the hours before I’m back on my regular beat in Little Italy. It’s around 28 hours and counting.
But I digress…
