Hello hello hello, all my fans who live all over the world with a special shout-out to all my fans in Italy, Russia and China!
How’s everyone doing?
The Old Soldier has been busy this morning. I’ve already updated the front page and this post is the fourth new post that I’ve added today. Maybe I’m so full of energy because I expect to be back on my beat in Little Italy tomorrow. Well, we’ll find out in about 24 hours.
It looks like the FCC is going to uphold “Net Neutrality.” That’s great news for all of us who use the Internet and who are not multi-billion dollar telecom corporations. It means all information will flow the same for all of us.
Of course, the big telecom corporations are not going to give up trying to control the Internet, trying to prioritize their information because they can pay more money than the rest of us. This was just one battle in what will probably be a long war.
But it’s nice to know that for the time being, access to the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette will not be hindered or given a lower priority than access to some large billion-dollar corporation. Remember, you don’t want your blog to be a second-class site either, do you?
Today in The ‘Burgh it will be partly cloudy, the high around 23 degrees with the possibility of one inch of snow.
This is the Old Soldier reporting for the Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette, a blog of commentaries, culture, erotic short stories, things Pittsburgh and sex as art and entertainment.
